    Celebration of the Launch of Environmental Projects for the Farwa Area.

    With the grace and guidance of God, a celebration was held on Tuesday, 17 September 2019, in the city of Farwa to mark the launch of environmental projects dedicated to the Farwa area, funded by the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF).

    These projects were proposed by the Libyan Society for Birds, the Libyan Society of Artisanal Fishery Friends, and the Bado Society for the protection of marine and terrestrial life. The event was organized under the auspices of the Municipal Council of Zuwara and the Steering Council of Abu Kammash.

    The ceremony was attended by the CEPF representative in North Africa, a delegate from the General Authority for Environment, the Chairman of the General Commission for Civil Society Organizations, the Executive Office Director of the Commission, the Zwara Office Director, as well as a number of distinguished figures and representatives of governmental institutions and local NGOs from Zuwara.

    The organizing associations extend their sincere gratitude to all who contributed to the success of this event, with special thanks to the members of the three participating associations and to the youth of the Bado Society for their outstanding dedication and active role in this occasion.
