In celebration of World Migratory Bird Day, the Libyan Society for Birds conducted a field visit on Monday, October 10, 2022, to the Al-Hadaba Wastewater Treatment Plant in Tripoli.

The visit resulted in the recording of 25 species of waterbirds and terrestrial birds, as follows:

• Little Grebe
• Teal
• Shoveler
• Ferruginous Duck
• Green Sandpiper

• Hoopoe
• Southern Grey Shrike
• Marsh Harrier
• Spanish Sparrow
• Barn Swallow
• Kingfisher
• Common Starling
• Blackbird
