Field visits conducted by the Libyan Society for Birds as part of the Winter Waterbird Survey Program in Libya continued this week, covering the city of Qaraboully and its notable sites: Qaraboully Port and Wadi Turghat.

These areas are distinguished by their picturesque wetlands, which provide a safe haven for waterbirds and an important source of food and breeding grounds. The survey conducted today recorded a good diversity and a notable abundance of birds.
