A consultative meeting was held on Tuesday, 20 October 2020, among the organizations involved in projects funded by the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF), aimed at protecting and conserving Farwa Island, to coordinate and schedule the launch of joint activities.

The meeting was conducted online, with the following participants:

• Libyan Society for Birds: Dr. Khaled Etayeb
• Libyan Society of Artisanal Fishery Friends: Prof. Ismail Al-Shuqman, Ms. Sarah Ben Zqlam, Ms. Niroz Bek
• Bado Society for the protection of marine and terrestrial life: Mr. Shukri Dahan, Mr. Hisham Al-Funas

The meeting fostered a collaborative atmosphere, focusing on coordinating the upcoming field activities on Farwa Island.
