Libya Winter Waterbird Census Program – 2018.
On Sunday, 14 January 2018, the third day of the Libya Winter Waterbird Census took place, conducted by a joint team from the Libyan Society for Birds, the Nature Protection Department of the General Environmental Authority, and its regional branches in Misrata and Sirte.
The census activities began on Thursday, 11 January 2018, covering wetland sites in Misrata and later continuing in the Sirte area. The team showed great enthusiasm in carrying out this important environmental mission.
The Society extends its sincere thanks to all participants for their efforts, with special appreciation to Libyan Najma Company for hosting the team during their work in the Misrata and Al-Washka areas.
